RIVERS WEST has built the Brand not through spending it’s hard-earned returns on marketing or adverts, but by constantly redefining itself through development of new technologies like our newest D³p, a 3-dimensional Polygonal fleece™.  3D weaving produces near-net-shape composite structures that are fully interconnected by their yarn. The Polygon is in high pile above the base fabric making the fabric polygon POP out above the base fleece. The 3-dimensional fabric just gives one a better opportunity to fade into the background.

Other features we have presented to the market have been the ‘Sling Gripper Shoulders’, ‘Radial Collar’. ‘Shirt Tail Hem’ and the ‘Diamond Flex Crotch’ to name just a few. We hunt, we experiment and we know. The Sling Grippers are invaluable when one bends down to go under a bush or low tree whereby the gun stays on one’s shoulder. We developed the Diamond Flex Crotch in heavy-duty Spandex many years ago to eliminate the danger of stepping over dead trees/logs where one’s pant leg would not stretch enough to prevent a fall (our stretch Fleece fabrics of today eliminate that threat). Our Radial Collar starts at the chin and rolls up to just under the ears and around the back so one can stay warm yet can hear all the sounds around them. The Shirt Tail Hem is self-described to prevent rain/snow dropping on their back when one’s jacket pulls up (which invariably happens when bending down or moving around under trees).

 RIVERS WEST is not tailored by designers nor pattern makers, but by hunters entrusted to push the envelope, maximizing their safety and comfort.
